Advanced Energy Storage (AES)

Home Based Batteries

With the proliferation of solar energy throughout the state of California the time for AES is here and now.  Recent advancements in battery technology and science as well as the chemistries involved have lead to a vast increase in the options available for home and business owners to store their solar energy.

Advanced Energy Storage (AES)

When you install an Advanced Energy Storage (AES) system or home-based batteries in tandem with your PV system you are able to store the excess energy from your panels instead of sending it back to the grid. Then you can use this energy when the sun isn’t shining.

Time Of Use (TOU)

If your utility offers Time Of Use (TOU) rates you can offset the higher tiered rates by using energy stored in the batteries when rates are high and then charge the battery with excess solar energy when the rates are low.

Self-Generated Incentive Program (SGIP)

You may be eligible for incentives like the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) and the federal investment tax credit. These incentives can help subsidize the cost of your AES system and shorten your return on investment.

Protected Loads

Secure your protected loads in the event of grid failure. When the grid goes out your batteries kick in giving you peace of mind. Some typical examples of protected loads are: refrigerators, medical equipment, computers, lighting, low load cooling like mini splits and swamp coolers, garage door openers and EV chargers.
